Follow Austen

Austen has faced the extreme highs and lows of running – from earning All-America honors his freshman season at Arkansas, to dealing with an eating disorder the following year. After moving to Boulder in 2019, he faced more challenges after being diagnosed with vocal cord dysfunction. Austen has relied on his faith since his college years, and continues to do so, taking solace in a community that helped re-establish his love and purpose in the sport. In 2023, Austen improved his mile and 1500 times by three seconds each.

Through Aspire OTQ, Austen hopes to share his faith as an avenue of gratitude and community in the sport to help support the journey for runners of all abilities.
