Follow Austin

A former walk-on for Division II Augustana University, Austin doesn’t fit the typical mold of an aspiring Olympian. While in college, he managed to balance school, running track, and working two jobs. Eventually, his running improved enough to be awarded an athletic scholarship. Trusting in himself and in his own journey, Austin notched the runner-up spot in the 1500 meters at the 2022 Division II Track & Field Championships. This outstanding performance caught the attention of his now running team, Tinman Elite.

Through Aspire OTQ, Austin wants to show athletes like him that there is more than one path to competing against the world’s best.
