Men’s team brings home the club trophy!
Last Sunday at the final race of the season — the Wash Park Circuit in Denver — our men’s squad stepped on the podium and secured the club trophy for first place in the Grand Prix. It was a thrilling finish to the season, and they did it by edging out our strong rivals, the Fort Collins Running Club. Meanwhile, our women’s team posted a fantastic performance to place 3rd overall, underscoring the depth and commitment of the BRR club.
The 2025 USATF Colorado Long Distance Running Grand Prix is a six-race, team-based series organized by USATF Colorado, designed to elevate club-level competition across our state. colorado.usatf.org
For Boulder Road Runners, participating is about far more than individual wins: it’s about building identity, visibility, and camaraderie. Whether you’re racing or cheering from the sidelines, you’re contributing to our club’s momentum and reputation.
Teams earn points based on the top five age-graded performances from each club at every race. Points are awarded by finishing place, and the best four races count toward the season total—plus bonus points for extra participation. Consistency and depth were key to Boulder Road Runners securing the men’s win.

Taking home the men’s trophy and securing 3rd for the women highlights the strength, depth, and dedication of our club across all levels. It reinforces our identity as a community that shows up, supports one another, and competes with purpose. These results reflect not just racing excellence, but the power of showing up together—whether running, cheering, organizing, or simply standing on the line in a BRR jersey.
To every member who raced, volunteered, shared a ride, cheered on teammates, or promoted the series—thank you. This achievement reflects the collective energy and commitment of our entire club.
Let’s carry this momentum into the off-season and look ahead to the 2026 season. Train together. Race together. Build on what we started this year.
