Follow Joey

Following a collegiate running career where he never qualified for a NCAA Championship, Joey knew he still had more to give to the sport. He took a chance on himself, and moved to Boulder to train with Tinman Elite at the highest level. Joey has competed at various national championships across disciplines (track, road, cross country), with his top placement as 7th at the 2021 US 5k Road Championships. After five years of hard work, Joey is now ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. in the 3000 meter steeplechase. Joey is the athlete representative on the Aspire OTQ steering committee.

Through Aspire OTQ, Joey wants to prove to runners at all levels that, despite past performances, everyone has the capability to work towards the level of athlete they believe they can be.
