Follow Katie

Living a nomadic lifestyle before settling in Boulder, Katie bounced between Portland and Flagstaff, training with various groups. Even with nowhere to call home, Katie thrived, qualifying for the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 1500 meters in 2022, and the 1500 and 5000 meters in 2023. After garnering the attention of multiple training groups, Katie decided to join Tinman Elite, where she is helping develop a full women’s roster for the previously male-dominant team. Now with Boulder as her home, Katie continues to excel: She finished on the podium at the 2024 USA Cross Country Championships, earning a spot on Team USA for the World Cross Country Championships, which were held in Belgrade, Serbia. In the spring of 2024, Katie is focusing on the track, aiming for an OTQ in the 1500m and 5000m.
