Welcome to the Boulder Road Runners

The Boulder Road Runners was formed in 1979 to encourage and promote running, walking, and fitness-related activities for people of all ages and abilities, from the casual recreational runner to the serious competitor. Ideas for new club activities are always welcome and the involvement of members is encouraged. Membership helps fund our programs that support our running community.

Summer All-Comers

Join us for another fun season of our All-Comers Track & Field meets. Run, jump, and throw! All ages, all abilities, all the fun!

Volunteering

The Boulder Road Runners often volunteer their time and expertise to help support the many live events that take place in and around Boulder. Without our help, many events would not be able to put on a quality event and we want to keep great racing opportunities in our area.
Join us for the 8th annual Mile High Mile

The Mile High Mile is back for its 8th season—bringing a high-energy night of racing to Boulder for runners of all ages and abilities in the heart of Downtown Boulder and the excitement of the Boulder Creek Festival and BOLDERBoulder Weekend.

This year, we’re introducing a new format designed to make the event more accessible, more flexible, and more fun—whether you’re chasing a PR or just showing up to run a mile with your crew.

Club Update July 2023

On a bike ride the night before the Aspire OTQ launch, a good friend and former BRR member asked, “So is Boulder Road Runners still around?”

Indeed, my friend, indeed.

In fact, launching the Club’s newly formalized athlete support program, Aspire OTQ, at Shoes & Brews on June 22nd, I realized as much as we were launching Aspire OTQ, we were also re-launching Boulder Road Runners. The room was full of BRR members of all ages, many local running celebrities, and just good energy and excitement.
