The Mile High Mile is back for its 8th season—bringing a high-energy night of racing to Boulder for runners of all ages and abilities in the heart of Downtown Boulder and the excitement of the Boulder Creek Festival and BOLDERBoulder Weekend.
This year, we’re introducing a new format designed to make the event more accessible, more flexible, and more fun—whether you’re chasing a PR or just showing up to run a mile with your crew.

Club Update July 2023
On a bike ride the night before the Aspire OTQ launch, a good friend and former BRR member asked, “So is Boulder Road Runners still around?”
Indeed, my friend, indeed.
In fact, launching the Club’s newly formalized athlete support program, Aspire OTQ, at Shoes & Brews on June 22nd, I realized as much as we were launching Aspire OTQ, we were also re-launching Boulder Road Runners. The room was full of BRR members of all ages, many local running celebrities, and just good energy and excitement.
New Member Benefit – The Feed
We are excited to announce a new sponsorship agreement with The Feed. The Feed is an online store for “all things human performance” – sports nutrition products, supplements, training and recovery gear, as well as one-on-one coaching to fine-tune your fueling. BRR members can sign-up to receive $80 in annual credit. Credit is used just like cash.

Sunday Group Run/Walk
The purpose of the group run/walk, which draws many runners on any given Sunday, is to act as a social easy run for the local running/walking community and encourage networking within the club.
The Sunday group run/walk meeting times:
Summer – 8:00 a.m. (June – Sept)
Winter – 9:00 a.m. (October – May)
Location: The Sunday run starts at the East Boulder Community Center (5660 Sioux Dr, Boulder, CO 80303) Please park in the lot furthest east which is closest to the creek footbridge.
